Denman Faculty Steering Committee 2009

Charge of the Committee - The Denman Faculty Steering Committee oversees the academic rigor, judging, and overall effectiveness of the Denman Undergraduate Research Forum, which is organized by the Honors and Scholars Center, the Undergraduate Research Office, and other university offices. The Faculty Advisory Committee typically meets once or twice in Winter Quarter to review plans for the forum and once in late May to evaluate the forum and suggest any changes needed for the following year. Using e-mail, the Committee reviews and approves submitted abstracts during the first two weeks of April and responds to other requests for advice from the Chair. Committee members typically attend the forum (May 13, 2009) and serve as back-up judges.
